Antoine Ramone Walker, Jr., age 29, of Streamwood, IL, departed this life on May 31, 2021. Antoine, affectionately known as “Twon” or “Tweezy,” was born on August 12, 1991 in Elgin, IL to his proud parents, Yolanda Williams and Antoine Walker, Sr. He has one sister and four brothers whom he loved dearly.

Antoine was born and raised in Elgin, IL. He attended Howard Area Leadership Academy in Chicago, IL. He was a dedicated hard worker and a caring individual. He spent a considerable portion of his career working in the manufacturing industry as a line leader. In recent years, he provided support to his sister, Mahogony, by serving as her part-time caregiver.

Antoine, from a child to an adult, was full of life and energy. He channelled his love for life into various activities. He was a capable athlete and participated in basketball, football, and boxing. Being both spontaneous and athletic, he was even known to flip off piers at the beach when he was a kid. If there was a good time to be had, Antoine could enjoy it and he would definitely create it.

Antoine loved his family and friends deeply. He loved to travel and would go near and far to support his loved ones and stop by unannounced just to enjoy their presence. Whether it be good conversation, sharing laughs and jokes, dancing, or throwing down on the grill, he was going to make sure he and everyone around him had a good time. He was the life and heartbeat of every party.

Antoine’s love was also felt in his strong desire to protect and care for those around him, even those he didn’t know. He especially had a heart to protect and watch over both women and children. This included taking time to teach kids how to ride a bike or just take time out to show them a good time outdoors. He was a fiercely protective son, brother, grandson, nephew, and uncle. He held these values closely and loved this way until the very moment he passed.

Antoine was preceded in death by his cherished mother, Yolanda Williams; and his beloved uncle, Maurice Truesdell. Antoine will be remembered by so many, but his love and memory will be cherished by his dad, Antoine Walker Sr.; his grandparents, Cassandra & Elbert Hill, Jackline & Jesse Green, Marvin Truesdell and Anita & Sean Edwards; sister, Mahogony Williams (Lefande Hicks); four brothers, Elijah Walker, Brandon Torrance, Antonio Walker, and Deondrae Clements; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
