It is our hope that your family will find an appropriate tribute that helps you cope with the loss of your child, and that you will ultimately find healing in your own time.

How We Can Help

We encourage you to take the opportunity to say goodbye, because doing so is an important step in acknowledging your grief and taking the first steps toward healing.

As a courtesy to families experiencing miscarriage or stillbirth, we offer discounted professional services in most cases.

Some questions you can consider:

  • Do you want your child to be honored privately or publicly?
  • Would you like your child to wear a special outfit or be wrapped in a special blanket?
  • Are there any cultural or religious traditions you wish to follow?

Burial

Burial provides a permanent memorial for you and loved ones to visit your child. Many families find comfort in having somewhere peaceful to go and spend time on special dates. If you own family plots, your child can be buried next to relatives. Many cemeteries also offer special sections for babies at reduced cost.

Cremation

If you child is cremated, you have several options:

  • Keep the ashes in your home
  • Place them in an an columbarium (an above-ground memorial wall) at a cemetery
  • Bury them in the ground at a cemetery
  • Scatter the ashes in a meaningful place

Special urns are available to honor your child, as well as cremation jewelry, which provide the opportunity to keep your child close to your heart.

Formal Remembrance

Some families choose to hold a formal gathering to remember their child. This can be a memorial service at the funeral home, at church, your home, or another meaningful location. You can also choose a more contemporary option, like a balloon or butterfly release. We are available to coordinate any memorial events for you.

Together, we are here to help you decide what you need to help you cope with your child’s loss, and start the path to healing.
