Thank you so much for taking the time to make sure everything was the way our family wanted it, for going the extra mile and understanding our unique needs. Your thoughtfulness and kindness are greatly appreciated during our time of grief. Such wonderful and caring people ♡ thank you.

In reference to my husband's passing, my greatest joy is that he was honored so deeply and with such respect at Symonds Madison Funeral Home. My husband changed his mind in the last two weeks of life in that he wanted to be cremated in his Army uniform. I wanted him to have an Honor Guard send off. My son and I read to him introductions on the web home pages of three area funeral homes. Doug chose Symonds-Madison because it is "proudly Veteran and family owned." I couldn't be more pleased with his choice. Daniel, Joy, Penny, Val, Bob and all the staff made my dreams for his life celebration happen in less than a week---a beautiful and wonderful service.

I lost my son friday and Daniel and his wife joy were so comforting to me and my family. Even though my son was to be cremated he gave me a peaceful viewing and made the experience so joyful. They went above and beyond any expectations.

Symonds-Madison Funeral Home went above and beyond when it came to planning my son’s cremation. I’ve never had any experience with this, but they made everything easy to understand, helped walk us through everything, and I was even given helpful materials as a grieving mother. I love the fact that this is a family run, local business and it’s apparent they really care about what they’re doing and the families they are helping. I cannot recommend them enough to help through the difficult process of planning any services.

The folks over at Symonds-Madison are top notch! We know they will be able to take care of any funeral need with excellent service and care. The owners are wonderful people.

It took way too long to write this review, but I still feel my experience should be shared. When my mom passed away in 2018, I knew she wanted to be buried and not cremated. I wasn’t sure how I was going to afford a burial plus a memorial that I felt she deserved. Dan worked with me and didn’t make me feel ”less than” if I declined anything. They don’t play on your vulnerabilities during a hard time and that is appreciated. I also had special circumstances regarding my moms needs, which I was afraid would double the cost of the funeral, but he was able to find a special casket that I could afford. My grieving process was easier because of they way they took care of us.

I would recommend this place to everyone. The staff there is so helpful and patient. They walk you through the entire process and answer all questions.

One of the most difficult things in life we go through is the loss of a loved one. When you are the one who is responsible to make their final arrangements, it can be the most stressful experience of your life. My family recently suffered the loss of our dad and Daniel Symonds- Funeral Director/Owner and his staff made me and my family feel at ease and comfortable. They treated us like they were part of our family. Daniel answered all our phone calls with patience. They took care of everything and were compassionate and very professional. They took the time to understand our sometimes complicated wishes and helped explain decisions we had to make. With respect to the level of service of the Symonds-Madison funeral Home, If I could give them 10 stars I would. On behalf of the Ogunribido Family, Thank You. You made a heartbreaking experience manageable and memorable. I'm sure daddy is smiling in heaven!

Had the pleasure of working with Daniel with the passing of our Dad. He was extremely patient, helpful and made sure that our Dad was taken care of. With the pandemic, he made sure we understood all the processes and kept us well informed. He answered every phone call, text message or email we sent and for that we were extremely thankful! I would definitely recommend Daniel and his facility to our friends and family.
