Veronica Ortiz Ortiz, age 53, of Elgin, IL, passed away on March 12, 2024. She was born June 4, 1970 in Mexico to her loving parents, Alejandro Ortiz Rodriguez and Dominga Ortiz Olmos.

Veronica was very loving, caring, kind, helpful, and selfless. She loved God, and enjoyed crafts, reading her Bible, and spending time with her daughters.

Veronica is survived by her daughters, Alejandra Flores and Abril Flores; parents, Alejandro and Dominga Ortiz; siblings, Jose Jorge Ortiz, Hector Ortiz, Carolina Ortiz, Dinora Ortiz; uncles, Moises Trujillo and Epifanio Ortiz; and cousins, Eliud Ortiz, Leo Ortiz, Noel Ortiz, Giovani Trujillo, Miguel Hernandez, Julia Hernandez, Zener Hernandez, and Mateo Hernandez.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.

Mass will be held at 12:30pm, Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at St. Monica Church, 90 N. Kennedy Drive, Carpentersville, IL 60110.

Interment will be in Mexico.
