Tracy Andrew Bowling, age 51, of Carpentersville, IL, passed away on January 21, 2023. He was born April 15, 1971 in Hinsdale, IL to his loving parents, James and Dorothy (née Ruffin) Bowling.
Tracy enjoyed school, earning his high school diploma at age 17. He went on to attend Elgin Community College, Devry University, and the College of DuPage, earning an Associates Degree. He later received his Commercial Driver’s License and became an over-the-road truck driver. He was stationed out of Dallas, TX, with his routine route covering from California to New York to Canada.
Tracy was a caring and humble man, always wanting to do the right thing. He loved to learn and understand new things. In recent years, he started enjoying football, learning the ins and outs of the game, as well as learning about the players involved.
Tracy symbolized his dedication to God as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Sunday, July 25, 2021. What a happy occasion for many!
Tracy was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dorothy Harvey; and brother, Michael Anthony Bowling. He is survived by his son, Tracy Andrew Durrell Bowling; daughter, Andrea Elizabeth Bowling; siblings, James Bowling Jr., Kathy Bowling, Angelo (Iris) Ruffin, Juanita Bowling, Veronica (Donnie) Harris, and Salina (Joseph) Body; grandchildren, Kahshawn, Ahkyra, Kahlil, Kahlia, and Kahtia; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be 3:00pm until funeral service at 6:00pm, Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Elder Richard Przybyl will be officiating.
