Serafin Padilla Garcia, age 76, of Elgin, IL, passed away on October 12, 2025. He was born January 15, 1949 in Acambara, Guanajuato, MX to his/her loving parents, J. Isabel Padilla Silva and Herlinda Garcia Santillan.

Visitation will be 10:00am to 11:45am, Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.

Mass will be at 12:00pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 270 Division Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Monsignor Arquimedes Vallejo will be officiating.

Interment to follow at Dundee Township East Cemetery, 420 Dundee Avenue, East Dundee, IL 60118.
