Noel Marin Diaz, age 37, of Woodstock, IL, passed away on June 21, 2024. He was born July 27, 1986 in Mexico to his loving parents, Jesus Marin Lopez and Norma Valdez.

Noel worked as a machine operator. He was smart, funny, hardworking, protective, and strong. He was lovable and giving, and enjoyed helping others. He was a very likable and social person, and everyone he met grew to love and respect him.

Noel was the life of the party. He enjoyed holidays, especially dressing up for Halloween, and giving everyone presents at Christmas. He loved dogs and horses, working on cars, dancing, and going on vacation. He also enjoyed just spending time with his kids and extended family.

Noel was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Marin Lopez; grandparents, Benito Diaz Pizzaro and Trinidad Lopez; and uncles, Miguel Diaz and Fernando Marin.

He is survived by his children, David Marin, Julissa Marin, Leilani Marin, and Angel Marin; mother, Norma (David Gonzalez) Diaz; siblings, Mirna Marin Diaz, Nerida (Manuel Balderas) Marin, Jesenia (Felix Castaneda) Marin, and Christian Valdez; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with prayers at 7:00pm, Friday, June 28, 2024, and from 10:30am to 12:00pm, Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.

Mass will be at 12:30pm, Saturday, June 29, 2024 at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 225 Jewett Street, Elgin, IL 60123. Fr. David Peck will be officiating.

Interment to follow at Dundee Township East Cemetery, 420 Dundee Avenue, East Dundee, IL 60118.
