Larry Don Ledesma Obituary

Larry Don Ledesma, age 52, of Elgin, IL, passed away on January 14, 2023. He was born March 16, 1970 in Aspermont, TX to his loving mother, Linda Acevedo.

Larry was very hardworking, and worked as a custodian for Township High School District 211 for several years. He had a very big heart and was always ready to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. He also had a great sense of humor, and strived to make others laugh.

Larry enjoyed fishing, socializing, watching horror movies, and doing yard work. He liked listening to country music, and his favorite band, AC/DC. A favorite memory is when he took his children to see AC/DC for their first concert. He was so excited to share his favorite band with them!

Larry was preceded in death by his stepfather, Steve Ortega; brother, Johnny Flick; and nephew, Michael Ortega. He is survived by his children, Linda Cristina (Alex) Alva and Nicolas Alejandro Ledesma; mother, Linda Acevedo; siblings, Raquel (Robert) Gonzales, Rosa Flick, Bobby (Vicky) Flick, Ralph Ortega, Steve Ortega, and MaryLou (Jose) Perez; granddaughter, LunaMarie Francesca Alva; and nieces and nephews, Gerald Reyna Jr., Daniel Reyna, Johnathon Reyna, Rocky Flick, Phillip Flick, Jose Martinez, Anna Flick, Gabriel Martinez, Issac Perez, Jose Perez, Angel Perez, Matthew Ortega, Dax Ortega, Daisy Ortega, Ayana Ortega, Selyia Ortega, Zack Flick, Eric Flick, and Lindsey Flick.
