Karl Dennis Krull, age 68, of Elgin, IL, passed away on March 23, 2024. He was born July 31, 1955 in Fort Atkinson, WI to his loving parents, Donald and Elaine (née Pruefer) Krull.

Karl worked as a ramp agent for Delta Airlines. He and his wife, Cathy, were married for 43 years, and together they raised two sons.

Karl had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful storyteller. He had a strong love of sports, especially baseball and football, and enjoyed sports history and stats. He was a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers.

Karl was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Elaine Krull; brothers, Ken and Keith Krull; and grandson, Gage Anderson Krull. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Krull; sons, Daniel (Erika) Krull and Steve (Alexandra Arteta) Krull; grandchildren, Landon, Hudson, Charlie, Dylan, and Spencer; nephews, Matt, Rich, Michael, and Tim; and niece, Amy.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.

Visitation will continue from 10:00am until funeral service at 11:00am, Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Michael J. Murschel will be officiating.
