Jorge Villanueva, age 40, of Elgin, IL, passed away on January 7, 2025. He was born December 28, 1984 in Elgin, IL to his loving parents, Benjamin Villanueva Sr. and Iraida Crespo.
Jorge had a great sense of humor and was a very funny guy. He was very giving to friends and family, always sharing what he had with others.
Jorge enjoyed martial arts. He was very artistic with woodworking, especially in creating swords. He liked cooking and gardening, and enjoyed creating and writing music, and singing.
Jorge was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Villanueva Sr. He is survived by his mother, Iraida Villanueva; siblings, Benjamin (Diana)Villanueva, Gladys (Demetrie) Young, William Villanueva, Ruben (Zulma) Villanueva, Roberto (Mary) Villanueva, Marilyn (Gaby) Villanueva, and Daniel (Michelle) Villanueva; nieces and nephews, Evon, Giana, Lexie, Ozzy, Amalia, Jorniel, Oli, Lyanna, Dalaney; four great-nieces; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Monday, January 13, 2025 (with prayers at 7:30pm), and 10:30am to 12:30pm, Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.

Funeral service will be at 12:30pm, Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Fr. Robert Camacho will be officiating.
Interment to follow at Bluff City Cemetery, 945 Bluff City Boulevard, Elgin, IL 60120.
