Ismaela Delgado, age 83, of Elgin, IL, passed away on November 16, 2022. She was born June 15, 1939 in Mexico to her loving parents, Bulfrido Delgado and Celia Celis.
Ismaela was a hard-working mother of ten. She was sincere, honest, and humble, and she loved and cared for her family. She enjoyed gardening, and reading her Bible. The family fondly remembers celebrating her 83rd birthday.
Ismaela is survived by her ten children, Abel, Ricardo, Santos, Heri, Mode, Reina, Zenaida, Mario, Bernard, and Lilia.
Visitation will be 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
Mass will be 11:00am, Monday, November 21, 2022 at St. Mary Church of Elgin, 400 Fulton Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Fr. Lisandro Cristancho will be officiating.
Interment to follow at Bluff City Cemetery, 945 Bluff City Boulevard, Elgin, IL 60120.
