Guillermo Bonilla Cabral, age 20, of Bartlett, IL, passed away on December 29, 2024. He was born September 30, 2004 in Zacatecas, Mexico to his loving parents, Enrique Bonilla and Guillermina Cabral.

Guillermo was very caring, generous, and almost always cheerful, though occasionally grumpy at times. He enjoyed exercising, meditating, and reading, and he loved plants and nature. He gave the most beautiful and sincere hugs.

Guillermo was preceded in death by his father, Enrique Bonilla. He is survived by his mother, Guillermina Cabral; brothers, Enrique and Rocio Bonilla; and nieces and nephews, Dhamariz, Ian, Alexis, and Yamileth.

Visitation will be 10:30am to 1:30pm, Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.

Mass will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, January 9, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 270 Division Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Monsignor Arquimedes Vallejo will be officiating.

Interment will be private.
