Obituary

Frank Paul Perrotta, age 80, of McHenry, IL, passed away on September 12, 2023. He was born September 23, 1942 in Chicago, IL to his loving parents, John Anthony Perrotta III and Helen Louise (née Sylvester) Perrotta.

Frank graduated from Morton West High School, Class of 1961. He was later drafted into the United States Army in 1966, and served for two years in the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Los Alamos, NM at a secret Nuclear Base, and was honorably discharged in 1968.

Frank met Barbara Warchal when they were both working at the Marriott In-Flite airline catering service at O’Hare Airport. They were married for 40 wonderful years.

Frank had a work ethic that was above reproach. He was very caring, always giving and serving his family, and putting others before himself. His children and grandchildren were his world, and he loved spending time with them. He also loved his pets, Rip the German Shepard, his monkey, and his latest BF Lacie, a yellow English lab.

Frank also enjoyed going to car shows, listening to rock and oldies music, going on scenic drives, and window shopping. At one time, he liked playing racquetball. He liked simple pleasures, such as enjoying a large bowl of popcorn or some ice cream at the end of a long day.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; and older brother, John (Ruth) Perrotta. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Perrotta; children, Dennis (Cynthia) Neophitos, Christopher (Danielle Coughlin) Neophitos, and Adrianna Neophitos; siblings, June (Angelo) Proietti, Paul (Kathy) Keating, and Albert (Rose) Keating; grandchildren, Alexis Phylactos, Stephanie Phylactos, Demetra Phylactos, Nikoleta Phylactos, Carlos Garcia, Connor Coughlin, and Paisley Neophitos; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Phylactos, Emma Flores, Alana Flores, and Willow Gates; and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
