Francisco Osorio Velazquez, age 29, of Hanover Park, IL, passed away on September 2, 2023. He was born October 4, 1993 in Mexico to his loving parents, Filimon Osorio Avilez and Petra Velazquez Diaz.

Francisco was introduced to Delfina Ocampo by a mutual friend. They went on several dates, and after two weeks, he asked her to be his girlfriend. They were married for 10 years.

Francisco was funny, and he liked to make people happy. He was very hardworking, and strived to give the very best to his children. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the park and having an ice cream.

He liked to sing, dance, listen to music, and go to soccer games with his nephews. He was very friendly, respectful, and helpful. He liked making friends with older people, as he appreciated their wisdom and advice.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Friday, September 15, 2023, and will continue from 11:00am to 12:00pm, Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.

Mass will be at 12:30pm, Saturday, September 16, 2023 at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 225 Jewett Street, Elgin, IL 60123. Fr. Andrew Mulcahey will be officiating.

Interment to follow at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery, 1185 W Algonquin Road, Palatine, IL 60067.
