Dora Eva Solis, 61 años, de Elgin, falleció el 3 de septiembre de 2024. Nació el 3 de julio de 1963 en México de sus amados padres, Lorenzo García y Luz María Vega.

Dora tenía una ética de trabajo muy sólida y le encantaba trabajar cuando gozaba de buena salud. También le encantaba cocinar y cuidar a su familia. Tenía un sentido del humor muy ingenioso, era resistente y de carácter fuerte. Le gustaba aprender sobre remedios holísticos y astrología.

A Dora le precedieron en la muerte sus padres; y hermanos, Hugo García y Leobardo García. Le sobreviven sus hijos, Nathaly Solís y Brenda Luna; hermanas, Noemí García, Beda García y Guillermina García; y nietos, Ethan Jaitly y Shivani Jaitly.

El velorio será de 5:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m., el sábado 7 de septiembre de 2024, y continuará de 9:30 a. m. a 10:30 a. m., el lunes 9 de septiembre de 2024, en Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, Illinois 60120.

Dora Eva Solis, age 61, of Elgin, passed away on September 3, 2024. She was born July 3, 1963 in Mexico to her loving parents, Lorenzo Garcia and Luz Maria Vega.

Dora had a very strong work ethic and loved to work when she was in good health. She loved to cook and care for her family, as well. She had a very witty sense of humor, and was resilient and strong willed. She enjoyed learning about holistic remedies and astrology.

Dora was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Hugo Garcia and Leobardo Garcia. She is survived by her children, Nathaly Solis and Brenda Luna; sisters, Noemi Garcia, Beda Garcia, and Guillermina Garcia; and grandchildren, Ethan Jaitly and Shivani Jaitly.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Saturday, September 7, 2024, and will continue from 9:30am to 10:30am, Monday, September 9, 2024, at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
