Alex Chavez Martinez, age 80, of Elgin, IL, passed away on April 7, 2023. He was born May 29, 1942 in Mexico to his loving parents, Pedro Martinez and Margarita Chavez.
Visitation will be 10:30am to 11:45am, Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
To access the visitation remotely, loved ones are encouraged to log on safe from home via Zoom (Meeting ID: 892 7811 2732, Password: 099823).
Mass will follow at 12:00pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 270 Division Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Monsignor Arquimedes Vallejo will be officiating.
Interment will be private.
