Wallace F. Johnson Jr.

Wallace F. “JR” Johnson Jr., age 59, of West Dundee, IL, passed away on February 6, 2023. He was born January 2, 1964 in Sycamore, IL to his loving parents, Barbara (née Becker) and Wallace Johnson Sr.

JR was a lifelong mailman; he worked as a US Postal Service letter carrier in Elgin for 36 years. He was a lovable prankster, and a caring father and grandfather. He was very friendly, and always seemed to know at least half the people in attendance at any Sunday morning breakfast place.

JR enjoyed years of fencing, and was an avid board game and puzzle collector. He thoroughly loved anything sci-fi or fantasy related.

A memorial will be held from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, Friday, February 17, 2023 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.

Interment will be private.
