It is with heavy heart we announce the untimely passing of Tham Nguyen, age 69, a beloved sister and aunt, who was tragically killed in an accident on May 24, 2024, when a semi-truck crossed the median.

Tham was born on August 1, 1955, in Vietnam.  She was a devoted teacher to her students and dedicated her life to caring for nieces and nephews. She had no children. She recently traveled to the United States to visit her family.

Tham is survived by her brothers (Chanh Nguyen and Thang Nguyen); nieces and nephews; and close friends who will miss her dearly.

Tham is also predeceased by her beloved brother (Bang Nguyen), nephew (Quyen Nguyen) and niece (Phuong Nguyen).

Prayers with family and close friends will be held at 7:00am, followed by visitation from 9:00am to 10:45am, Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
