Rodolfo Canales, age 61, of Elgin, IL, passed away on January 6, 2024. He was born December 15, 1963 in Mexico to his loving parents, Angel Canales and Ofelia Munoz.

Rodolfo was a serious person. He enjoyed going for walks, watching soccer, and spending time at the library. A favorite memory is of when he was reunited with his family.

Rodolfo was preceded in death by his parents; uncle, Castulo Canales; and aunts, Margarita Canales and Juana Canales. He is survived by his siblings, Reymundo Canales, Angela Canales, Maria Luz Canales, and Maricela Canales; cousins, Aristeo Canales, José Canales, Pablo Canales, Carmen, Canales, and Pedro Canales; and nieces and nephews, Adán Canales, Isabel Canales, Vanesa Canales, Angel Canales, Edwin Canales, Alex Lomes, Dania Lomes, Josue Lomes, and Atzari Canales.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with funeral service at 7:30pm, Friday, January 17, 2025, at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Fr. Robert Camacho will be officiating.
