Robert “Bobby” Joseph Bowman, age 41, of Elgin, IL, passed away on September 27, 2023. He was born September 21, 1982 in West Chicago, IL to his loving parents, Robert Bowman Sr. and Rosalinda Reyes.

Bobby graduated from Elgin High School, Class of 2000. He did mostly industrial work.

Bobby was funny, silly, and shy. He was very laid back, a man of few words. He was a loving father to his three children.

Bobby was big into sports. He played football, baseball, and basketball, both as a child and throughout his high school years. As an adult, he enjoyed golfing with his dad, and camping and spending time with his family.

Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalinda Reyes; grandmother, Janet Bowman; and grandfather, Allan Bowman. He is survived by his children, Isabella, Braylon, and Vivian Bowman; stepchildren, Veena and Vianna Tek; father and stepmother, Robert and Lucy Bowman; stepbrother, Daniel; stepsister, Diana; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with funeral service at 7:00pm, Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.  Bishop Robert LeBaron will be officiating.
