Ricardo Lomas

Ricardo Lomas, age 60, of Elgin, IL, passed away on July 6, 2023. He was born March 20, 1963 in Aurora, IL to his loving parents, Ricardo B. Lomas and Gloria Valle.

Ricardo enjoyed fishing on the Fox, listening to country, rock, and Tejano music, and starting conversations with strangers. He loved helping others, and to kid around.

Ricardo loved his family and enjoyed hanging out with them. He liked playing chess with his nephews and family cookouts.

Ricardo was preceded in death by his father, Ricardo B. Lomas. He is survived by his mother, Gloria Valle; children, Joy Lomas, Rita Lomas, Rebecca Lomas, Braulio Lomas, Javier Lomas, and Rosa Lomas; siblings, Everardo “Eddie” Valle, Humberto “Bobby” (Denise) Valle; Arabany Valle, Caroline Rangel, and Eloise Lomas; and many grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with funeral service at 7:00pm, Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Pastor Manny and Olivia Martinez will be officiating.
