Rene Rodriguez

René Rodriguez, age 64, of Elgin, IL, passed away on June 19, 2025. He was born May 13, 1961 in Elgin, IL to his loving parents, Margaro Rodriguez and Petra Rivera.

René was preceded in death by his parents; older brothers, Robert and Richard; and infant grandson, Gabriel Guastaferri. He is survived by his daughter, Chevella (Anthony) Guastaferri; siblings, Rey, Roy, Marta, Ramon, and Juanita; grandchildren, William Cobb Jr., Paige Cobb, Dylan Cobb, Michael Guastaferri, and James Guastaferri; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 300 N. State Street, Elgin, IL.

Interment will be private.
