Monica Lee Jordan, age 66, of Elgin, IL, passed away on November 5, 2023. She was born January 2, 1957 in Chicago, IL to her loving parents, Charles Albanese and Dorothy Smith.

Monica worked as an administrative assistant for Dynegy. She loved cooking for her family, and watching classic movies, especially Christmas movies as Christmas was her favorite holiday and a special time of year for her. She also loved dancing and listening to live music, and enjoyed going to rock concerts.

Monica was extra loving, kind-hearted, and affectionate. She was very giving and empathetic, always thinking of others. She will be greatly missed.

Monica was preceded in death by her father, Charles Albanese; mother, Dorothy Smith; former husbands, John Keveris and George Wojcik; brother, Sal “Butch” Albanese; and sister, Sharon Quam. She is survived by her son, Shawn (Alissa Scott) Wojcik; daughter, Michelle Lascio; brother, Newel Albanese; grandchildren, Isabella, Gabriella, and Mia Scott; cousin, Victoria Albanese; and nephew, James Quam.

Interment will be private.
