Mary Catherine Beyer, age 82, of Elgin, IL, passed away on February 2, 2025. She was born March 27, 1942 in Chicago, IL to her loving parents, Ernest and Kathryn (née Harcharik) Korona.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ernest F. Korona Jr.; and sister, Debbie Schmitt. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Beyer; son, Carl Beyer; daughter, Melissa Beyer; granddaughter, Amelia Chassagne; and brother, Stanley Korona.

A memorial will be held from 10:00am until funeral mass at 11:00am, Friday, February 14, 2025, at St. Thomas More Church, 215 Thomas More Drive, Elgin, IL 60123. Fr. Nathan Pacer will be officiating.

Interment will take place in the spring at Lakewood Memorial Park, 30W730 U.S. Hwy. 20, Elgin, IL 60120.
