Maria Lemus, age 73, of Pingree Grove, IL, passed away on October 5, 2022. She was born August 22, 1949 in Moroléon, Guanajuato, MX to her loving parents, Angel Lara and Josefina Garcia.
Maria was very hospitable, and loved spending time with family and making delicious food. She also enjoyed walking outdoors.
Maria was hardworking and energetic. She had a kind, loving, and generous heart, and a funny sense of humor.
Maria is survived by her children, Raul, Sandra, and Rocio; sisters, Guadalupe, Martha, Carmen, and Eva; brothers, Alfonso, Jose Luis, Francisco, Angel, and Rafael; grandchildren, Karina, Olivia, Sophia, and A.J.;nieces, Isela, Fany, Martha, Guadalupe, Rocio, Jessica, Guadalupe, Anna, Wendy, Maria, Leslie, Maria Josefina, Sara, Blanca, Melissa, and Brenda; and nephews, Rodolfo, Jesus, Luis, Alfonso, Francisco, Andres, and Angel.
Interment will take place at Jardines de la Eternidad, Moroléon, Guanajuato, Mexico.
