Laura Izamar Ocampo

Laura Izamar Ocampo, age 29, of Elgin, IL, passed away on July 23, 2022.  She was born August 19, 1992 in Mexico to her loving parents, Jesus Ocampo and Victoria Lopez.

Laura was an outgoing, fun, and happy young woman.  She enjoyed shopping, eating, and attending parties and family gatherings.

Laura is survived by her son, Mariano Andrade; parents, Jesus Ocampo and Victoria Lopez; brothers, Jose Ocampo, David Ocampo, and Victor Ocampo; aunts, Laura Ortega and Catalina Leonardo; cousins, Yoana, Alfredo, Alberto, and Crystal; and nieces and nephews, Christopher Ocampo, Jayden Ocampo, and Nevaeh Ocampo.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with funeral service at 7:00pm, Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.

Mourners are encouraged to review the funeral home COVID-19 public health policies ahead of time.
