Kelly Wood, age 55, of Elgin, IL, passed away on June 24, 2024. She was born April 12, 1969 in Chicago, IL to her loving parents, Kathleen (née Oram) and William Guth Sr.

Kelly worked in the healthcare industry as a home care aide and took great pride in the care she took of her patients. She was caring, funny, witty, and strong-willed. She enjoyed crafting, playing Bingo and the slot machines, and watching her favorite team, the Chicago Cubs.

Kelly is survived by her children, Nicole Rail, Katie Fisk, Kristyn Wood, and Shaun Wood; mother, Kathleen Guth; sister, Patty; brother, Billy; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial will be held from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, Sunday, June 30, 2024, at the Elgin Moose Lodge, 925 S. McLean Boulevard, Elgin, IL 60123.

Interment will be private.
