John Patrick Rice, age 78, of Elgin, IL, passed away on January 15, 2026. He was born November 29, 1947 in Chicago, IL to his loving parents, George and Josephine (née Purpura) Rice.

Interment with military honors will take place at 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421.
