John Paul Brucato Obituary

John Paul Brucato, age 76, of Elgin, IL, passed away on April 29, 2024. He was born March 5, 1948 in Chicago, IL to his loving parents, John F. and Mary J. (née World) Brucato.


John served in the United States Army for over three years; 19 months of his service was in the Vietnam conflict.


John was a kind, considerate, and caring person. He was a helpful big brother to his siblings. He was very mechanically inclined and used that knowledge to work on his own cars and motorcycle.


John was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Thomas L. Brucato. He is survived by his sister, Debbie (Ron) Coser; three nieces; and three nephews.


Interment with military honors will be 1:00pm, Monday, June 24, 2024 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421.
