Jean Marie Wasilewski, age 93, of Orlando Park, IL, passed away on June 5, 2025. She was born June 24, 1931 in Chicago, IL to her loving parents, Frank and Albie (née Kovanda) Stasiak.

Jean and her husband, Richard, were married 46 years before his passing in October, 2013. She worked at the Palos South Library for over 25 years before retiring.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; and brothers, Frank and Tom Stasiak. She is survived by her children, Diane (Ross) Lillwitz and Deborah (Kirk) DeBoer; sister, Carol Ball; grandchildren, Matthew, Cathy, Megan, Sarah, and Annie; and great-grandchildren, Charlie, Daniel, and Jack.

Visitation will be held from 12:15pm until funeral mass at 12:45pm, Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Saint Elizabeth Seton Parish, 9300 West 167th Street, Orland Hills, IL 60487. Rev. Kevin McCray will be officiating.

Interment to follow at 2:30pm at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421.
