Gregory Lee Womack

Gregory Lee Womack, age 55, of Elgin, IL, passed away on March 19, 2024. He was born December 17. 1968 in Elgin, IL to his loving parents, J. Henry Womack and Earlene Miller.

Gregory graduated from Elgin High School, Class of 1986. He had an intoxicating laugh and a beautiful smile. He loved the Lord, and served as Elder of Spates Temple COGIC. He enjoyed Gospel music, and serving others.

Gregory was preceded in death by his father, J. Henry Womack. He is survived by his mother, Earlene Miller; sister, Yolanda Baldwin; aunts, Barbara Snoody and Williette DeBerry; uncle, Lee Womack; niece, Shronda Baldwin; and a host of cousins.

Visitation will be 11:00am until funeral service at 12:00pm, Friday, March 29, 2024 at Elgin Bethesda Church of God in Christ, 454 Hickory Place, Elgin, IL 60120. Dr. Cedric Simmons will be officiating.

Interment to follow at Bluff City Cemetery, 945 Bluff City Boulevard, Elgin, IL 60120.
