Eugena “Gena” Kaye Ramsey-Quint, age 71, of Salem, IL, passed away peacefully at Centralia Manor on February 14, 2025. She was born on August 24, 1953 in Lansing, MI to her loving parents, Eugene and Avis (née Rogers) Webb.

On June 30, 1989, Gena married Dennis Quint in Geneva, IL, and they shared 35 wonderful years together until her passing. She found joy in solving puzzles, gardening both vegetables and flowers, spending time outdoors, and reading books. Above all else, she treasured the moments spent with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Gena was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Avis Webb; stepfather, Robert Webb; and sister, Marla Webb. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Quint; children, Jill (Les) Samuel of Elgin, IL, Jacob Ramsey of Olney, IL, and Kylene Ramsey of Olney, IL; three cherished grandchildren, Leslie Samuel III, Madeline Ramsey, and Alivia Ramsey; sister, Theresa Stan of Olney, IL; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be 12:00pm until funeral service at 2:00pm, Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Rev. Martin Balzer will be officiating.

Interment to follow at Bluff City Cemetery, 945 Bluff City Boulevard, Elgin, IL 60120.
