Ernest William “Bill” Johnson, age 84, Carpentersville, IL
Bill was born August 10, 1939 in Stoughton, WI, and he passed away on July 27, 2024.
He was a wonderful husband to Sue Johnson, father to Shannon Johnson, and Brother to Theresa Norris.
He dedicated his life to sharing God's love with all who would listen.
He went from foster homes, to the Army, to working as a dedicated Computer Analyst, then to becoming a Paraprofessional for handicapped children.
He loved painting, photography, woodworking, and helping others in any way he could.
Bill was loved and will be dearly missed by many.
The Lord has him by His side now.
A memorial will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm, with service at noon, Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Vineyard Church of Elgin, 220 Division Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Tom Severson will be officiating. Interment will be private.
