Precious mother and grandmother, Dorothy W. Kent, age 86, of West Dundee, IL, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. She was born June 11, 1938 in Okolona, MS to her loving parents, Louis and Alberta (née Brandon) Walker.

Dorothy was the heart and soul of her family and will be truly missed. She loved God, her family, and all of the many lives of those she touched over the years.

You were a precious gift from God above, so much beauty, grace and love.

You touched our hearts in so many ways, your smile so bright even on the bad days.

You heard God's whisper calling you home, you didn't want to go and leave us alone.

You loved us so much, you held on tight, till all the strength was gone and you could no longer fight.

So you gave your hand to God and slowly drifted away, knowing that with our love, we will be together again someday. 

At Dorothy’s request, there will be no services. In her memory, she would want those who knew and loved her to offer her family support and encouragement through thoughts and prayers.
