Cynthia Louise Pieper, age 76, of Bartlett, IL, passed away on August 27, 2024. She was born November 29, 1947 in Chicago, IL to her loving mother, Ruth (née Vogeney) Kraft.

Cynthia earned her BA in education from Elmhurst College in 1970. She worked as a preschool teacher and as a florist, but her favorite role was wife and mother. She and her husband, Patrick, were married for 55 years, and together they raised two children. She loved her family more than anything.

Cynthia had a larger-than-life personality, a wonderful sense of humor, and was always the life of the party. She was always singing, and repeating humorous things she heard. She was the best advice giver, and a true friend. She was also very artistic.

Cynthia enjoyed the pool, Disney trips, cats, and food! Favorites were pizza, beef sandwiches, wings, and cake.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Kraft. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Pieper; children, Jennifer (Dan) Berg and Bryan (Christine) Pieper; brother, William (Jovelyn) Kraft; beloved grandchildren, Brendan Berg and Brianna Berg; and nieces and nephews, Laura Pieper, Steven Pieper, David Pieper, and Amanda Kraft.

A memorial will be held from 1:00pm until funeral service at 2:30pm, Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.

Interment will be private.
