Christy Francine Villarreal, age 49, of Chicago, IL, passed away on April 10, 2025. She was born June 7, 1975 in Elmhurst, IL to her loving parents, Gerald and Patricia (née Crovedi) Caliendo.

Christy was a force of nature, who captivated every room she was in, and never met a stranger. She was a loved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, who will be missed.

Christy was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Caliendo; brother, James Caliendo; first husband, Ed Villarreal; and second husband, Eric Barber. She is survived by her children, Zane Villarreal and Ashley (John McWilliams) Villarreal; stepdaughter, Erica Barber; mother, Patricia Caliendo; and sister, Nicole Hutcheson.

Interment will be private.
