Carole Louise Dreher-Veselsky

Carole Louis Dreher-Veselsky, of Geneva, IL, passed away, at the young age of 80, on July 22, 2022. She was born June 18, 1942 in Chicago, IL to her loving parents, Russell M. Dreher Sr. and Gladys Louise (née Frank) Dreher.

Carole graduated from Lake Park High School. She worked as a legal secretary for many years. After retirement, she enjoyed going to the local senior center to participate in activities.

Carole loved animals. She had a favorite dog named Freckles, and once even owned a parakeet. She also loved to travel; Hawaii was a favorite destination.

Carole was a devoted daughter. She even moved her mother from Beloit, WI to her own home to take care of her before her passing.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, Russell M. Dreher Jr.; nephew, Ryan (Heather) Dreher; great-niece, Brooke Dreher; great-nephew, Devon Dreher; and good friends, Jim Skaar, Alice Hawkins, Alex and Kristine Kintop, and Melanie.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Lakewood Memorial Park, 30W730 U.S. Hwy. 20, Elgin, IL 60120.
