Carl E. Wilharm, age 93, of Elgin, IL, passed away on August 16, 2023. He was born February 1, 1930 in Elgin, IL to his loving parents, Carl H. and Marguerite (née Ebeling) Wilharm.

Carl graduated from Elgin High School, Class of 1947. He served in the United States Army in the Korean War. He was employed as a laborer.

Carl was a man of few words, and a jack of all trades. He was an avid gardener, and had a talent for repurposing anything imaginable.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Verlys (Charles Awe) and Lois; and brothers, Harland (Marjorie) and Richard. He is survived by his brothers, Roger (Sharon) and Lawrence; and many nieces and nephews.

Interment will take place at 11:00am, Friday, August 25, 2023 at Bluff City Cemetery, 945 Bluff City Boulevard, Elgin, IL 60120.
