Antwon Dewayne Jones Jr., age 24, of Carpentersville, IL, passed away on December 13, 2025. He was born July 31, 2001 in Elgin, IL to his loving parents, Pearlean Denise (née Jackson) and Antwon Jones Sr.

Antwon worked as a general laborer, where he brought the same dedication and spirit he showed in all aspects of life. Whether he was gaming, dropping a verse while rapping, or cracking jokes at family events, he had a natural way of connecting with people. Known for his sharp sense of humor, Antwon had a special talent for making people—especially his sister—laugh. His love for music and video games reflected his creative energy and youthful heart.

One of Antwon’s signature looks was his dark shades—always worn with style and confidence. To those who knew him, they weren’t just sunglasses; they were a part of his personality—cool, bold, and unapologetically himself.

Antwon’s presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the laughter he inspired and the memories he helped create.

Antwon was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Berry Jones Jr and Edward Jackson; brother, Tela Jones; uncle, Jimmy Dunner; cousin, Timothy Jones; and aunt, Bessie Barnes. He is survived by his parents, Antwon and Pearlean Jones; siblings, Romeo Jones, Dante Bonds, and Aaliyah Jones; grandmothers, Annie Jones and Mordine Jackson; aunts and uncles, Frank Barnes, Thelma Dunner, Steve Dunner, Laura Dunner, Elizabeth Jones, Victoria Harris, James Dunner, and Tressie Rodgers; niece, Kaior Jackson Jones; and many cousins.

Visitation will be 10:00 am until funeral service at 11:00am, Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Philadelphia Holiness Full Gospel Baptist Church, 76 S. Jackson Street, Elgin, IL 60123.

Interment to follow at Bluff City Cemetery, 945 Bluff City Boulevard, Elgin, IL 60120.
