Anselmo O. Alvarez

Anselmo O. Alvarez, age 80, of Wood Dale, IL, passed away on August 1, 2023. He was born September 30, 1942 in Matamoros, Mexico to his loving parents, Maximino Olveral and Maria De La Luz Alvarez.

Anselmo was very hard working. He worked as a driver for 40 years, and also as a supervisor. He loved to help people whenever he could. He was very kind, polite, and respectful. Everyone could always count on him.

Anselmo enjoyed reading newspapers and watching documentaries.

Visitation will be 5:00pm until funeral service at 8:00pm, Monday, August 14, 2023 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Fr. Robert Camacho will be officiating.

Interment will be private.
