Allen Foster Obituary
Allen Foster, age 63, of Elgin, IL, passed away on October 26, 2024. He was born April 18, 1961 in Glasgow, KY.
Allen, despite having only a third grade education, was a successful hardworking plumber for 42 years. He met his wife, Kathy, when she was visiting Tennessee while he was working at a chicken farm there. They were married for 32 years before her passing in 2011.
Allen was nice, caring, and respectful. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley Davidson, and shooting. He especially enjoyed deer hunting, and would hang the deer in front of the house he shared with his son.
Allen is survived by his son, AJ Foster.
Visitation will be 11:30am to 12:00pm, Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
Interment to follow at 12:30pm at Bluff City Cemetery, 945 Bluff City Boulevard, Elgin, IL 60120.
