Alexander James Esparza

Alexander James Esparza, age 22, of Elgin, IL, passed away on October 24, 2023. He was born December 1, 2000 in Winfield, IL to his loving parents, Felix Esparza and Karin Rowe.

Alex graduated from Central High School, Class of 2019. He worked at the Fox River Harley-Davidson in St. Charles, IL.

Alex was both hardworking and easy-going. He was responsible and dependable, and a bit of a procrastinator. His friends say he’d always “give the shirt off his back.” He had a unique laugh that will be forever missed.

Alex enjoyed music, BMX bikes, skateboarding, paintball, the shooting range, dirt biking, cars, motorcycles, video gaming, and building many things, including Legos and model cars. He was 4:20 friendly, and he loved spending time with family and friends.

Alex was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Paul Rowe; and uncle, Acencion Flores. He is survived by his parents, Felix Esparza and Karin Rowe; brothers, Benjamin Esparza and Gabriel Esparza; grandparents, Carolyn Rowe, Ascencion Esparza, and Josefa Esparza; aunts and uncles, James Rowe, Cynthia Rowe, Melissa Rowe, Kelli Rowe, Danesa Flores, Ramiro Flores, Kristine Razon, Margarita Ramirez, Jose Ramirez, Jesus Esparza, Yadira Esparza, Antonia Toledano, Magdalena Gonzales, Rene Gonzales, and Maria Esparza; and a host of cousins that will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with funeral service at 7:00pm, Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Michael Murschel will be officiating.

Interment will be private.
