Adela Gutierrez, age 68, of Elgin, IL, passed away on July 2, 2022. She was born November 27, 1953 in Mexico to her loving parents, Ramon Gutierrez and Celia Raya.

Adela worked as a pickle packer for the Claussen Pickle Company. She was married to her beloved husband, Eufemio, for 47 years, and together they raised three sons.

Adela was a tough, hardworking woman, who loved her husband and sons dearly. She also enjoyed music, and listening to the radio.

Adela is survived by her husband, Eufemio Gutierrez; and sons, Rafael, Ricardo, and Pablo Gutierrez.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with prayers at 7:00pm, Monday, July 11, 2022 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.

Mourners are encouraged to review the funeral home COVID-19 public health policies ahead of time.

Funeral mass will be 11:00am, Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 270 Division Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Monsignor Arquimedes Vallejo will be officiating.

Interment to follow at Bluff City Cemetery, 945 Bluff City Boulevard, Elgin, IL 60120.
