Louise Wormington, age 89, of Elgin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 18, 2015. She was born on October 14, 1925 in Eagleville, Mo. to her loving parents, Otto and Edith Bennett.

Louise was brave, gentle, intelligent, kind, loving and good-natured.  She had a rock solid faith in God and was always ministering to others with words of healing and encouragement.  Louise was always faithful and dedicated in her service to God, her husband, her children, and all her family and friends.  She loved the written word, and she loved music; she passed these passions onto her sons.  Louise was dearly loved by all her family and friends and will be missed by all whose lives she touched.  She is free now – free from pain of any kind, in the everlasting, loving arms of God.

“Earth, that nourished thee, shall claim Thy growth, to be resolved to earth again, and, lost each human trace, surrendering up Thine individual being, shalt thou go to mix forever with the elements…”

-William Cullen Bryant

Her grandson, Brian, granddaughter, Michelle Wormington fiancée Jake Cemenski.  Great granddaughters, Karma, Tayla, and Kiera Louise Cemenski, her sister, Wanda Cramer, brother, Scott Bennett, and daughter-in-law Terry Wormington.
