Roxanne Hall, age 60, of Elgin, passed away at home on January 31, 2021. She was born September 13, 1960 in Michigan City, IN to her loving parents, Curtis and Sharon Otto (née Sadenwater).

Roxanne met her husband, George, through a dating site, and it was love at first sight. They had one date and got engaged the next day. Their love grew stronger year by year.

Roxanne was a nurse in the medical profession, but also did interior decorating. She was very creative and artistic, and wrote many poems. She loved cats, and also enjoyed cooking.

Roxanne was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Sharon Otto; and siblings, Gary Anderson, Curtis Lane, and Donna Anderson. She is survived by her husband, George Brociek; son, Barry Burns; brothers, Jerry Lane, Dale Anderson, and Glen Anderson; uncle, Dick Sadenwater; and nieces and nephews, Austin Lane, Logan Lane, Chris Oldham, Stephanie Oldham, and Lauren Lane.

Visitation will be 1:00 pm until funeral service at 4:00 pm, Friday, February 5, 2021 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.

Mourners are encouraged to review the funeral home COVID-19 public health policies ahead of time. Face masks are required to enter the facility.

To access the visitation remotely, loved ones are encouraged to log on safe from home via Zoom.us (Meeting ID: 919 2288 5459, Password: 409605).

Interment will be private.
