Patricia (“Trisha”) Jean Worth (née Heidenreich), age 68, of Elgin, IL, passed away peacefully at her home on October 30, 2021, following a short and intense battle with cancer. She was born July 30, 1953 to her loving parents, Frank and Irene (née Kadera) Heidenreich.
Trisha grew up in LaGrange Park, IL and graduated from Immaculate Heart of Mary High School in Westchester, Class of 1971. She also attended Stevens College in Columbia, MO.
With a lifelong passion and love of the performing arts, Trisha performed in various recitals and plays throughout her education. She was also active in community theatre and local productions. Prior to the cancer diagnosis, she had begun taking ballet again to help with flexibility and strength.
Throughout her life, Trisha worked in various secretarial and administrative roles, including in the hospitality industry. It was there that she met the love of her life, Kelly Worth. They were married on August 10, 1985, recently celebrating their 36th wedding anniversary.
Trisha also held roles as a library assistant at a primary school, and at a veterinary practice in an administrative role. She had a lifelong love of animals; her home always had a place for a feline or canine in need. Trisha loved nature and spent many enjoyable years at a local campground, often with family and friends. Her wonderful smile, her graceful and gentle nature, her laughter and love will be missed by those whose lives she touched.
Trisha was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Irene Heidenreich; and sister, Sharon (Warren) Jewell. She is survived by her husband, Kelly Worth of Elgin, IL; sister, Nancy (Don) Juday of Sun City, AZ; sisters-in-law, Kris Larsen of Schaumburg and Andrea Worth of Rolling Meadows; and several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be private. There will also be a private “Celebration of Life” in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider making a donation in Trisha’s name to the American Cancer Society.
