Michael F. Becker, age 75, of Carpentersville, IL, passed away on November 27, 2021. He was born June 4, 1946 in Chicago, IL to his loving parents, Frank and Marie (née Fritsch) Becker.

Michael joined the United States Army in July, 1966, and served faithfully for for three years before being honorable discharged. He earned a National Defense Service Medal and an Expert Badge for the Rifle M-14.

Michael and his wife, Robin, were married for 42 years.

Michael enjoyed watching sports, especially when the Chicago Cubs, Bears, or Fire were playing. He also enjoyed reading the newspaper and watching television, though he often said nothing compared to the shows he liked to watch when he was younger.

Michael was quiet in word, but spoke loudly through his deeds. He was deliberate and thoughtful in conversation, so when he chose to speak up, it carried extra gravity. He was a hard worker who led by example and never compromised. He loved his family and relished the opportunity to challenge and elevate his children.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Robin Becker; children, Jennifer (John) Hardin, Joshua (Mireya) Becker, and Brittany (Tiarra) Abell; sister, Gail (Tim) Schreader; and grandchildren, Lincoln and Teddy.

Interment will be private.
