Linda Eileen Stojkovich, age 73, of Elgin, passed away on October 16, 2020. Linda was born June 20, 1947 in Chicago, IL to her loving parents, Harry Boyschou and Donna Blust Boyschou.

Linda graduated from Madonna High School, Class of 1965. During her working career, she worked at several locations, including a law office, VISA, and the Elgin Centre.

She and her husband, David, were married for 51 years, and had 2 boys.

Linda loved sports and was a huge fan of both the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. She also loved bowling, attending craft fairs, and shopping.

Loved ones will remember Linda as selfless, always putting others first. She would do anything to make others happy.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and she is survived by her husband, David Stojkovich; two sons, Mark (Amy) Stojkovich, and Chad (Jennifer) Stojkovich; two sisters, Valerie (Jay) Sartain, and Donna Sue (Rick) Howard; grandchildren, Quinn Stojkovich, Jordan Stojkovich, and Sophia Stojkovich; and nieces and nephews, Keith Morin, Cherie Morin, Todd Brown, and Krista Brown.

Visitation will be 1:00pm until funeral service at 4:00pm, Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.

Mourners are encouraged to review the funeral home COVID-19 public health policies ahead of time. Face masks are required to enter the facility.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of memorial contributions, please consider making a donation in Linda’s name to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation or the Cancer Research Institute.

  4. My heart goes out to Dave, Mark and Amy and Quinn (who shares the same birthday), Chad and Jennifer and Jordan and Sophia. What a great loss to all.
    Linda and I were friends for over 42 years. We shared such fun times filled with laughter and mischief. She will always be in my heart. The world is a little less bright without her.
