Lawrence “Larry” Salato, age 48, passed away Wednesday March 18, 2015 at his home in Elgin, IL. Born January 9, 1967 in Des Plaines, IL to the loving parents of Frank & Alice Salato.
Larry was a loving husband, devoted son and caring brother. He was known for his big heart that cared about everyone. You could never find a more thoughtful son, better brother, giving uncle, kind friend or decent human being than Larry. He found his niche in life as a machinist and even though he faced many life struggles, but he always kept a smile on his face and a generous heart. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing Texas hold ’em and fishing in Wisconsin with life long friends.
He survived by is wife Nicole, his sister Pamela (David) King, brothers Leopold (Jennie), Frank, James (Sue) Salato, nephew Trevor (Samantha) Salato and nieces Brianne Salato and Jennifer King, and grandnephew Wyatt, grandniece Everly, and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his uncle Salvatore Salato, aunt Rose Stoops and Helen Flynn.
