Jovita Guzman, age 67, passed away November 15, 2014 in Elk Grove Village. Born February 15, 1947 in San Antonio, TX to the loving parents of Juan and Luias Solano.

Jovita was a devoted loving wife, mother, and grandmother who put her family first in everything in her life.

“You fought hard and long, the time has come when God has made you our angel watching us from up above.  You will truly be missed.  Every glass of Lambrusco I drink will always be in your honor! I know you are in a better place now and you will always live in my heart and mind this isn’t a goodbye but a see you later in the eternal life.

Mothers are faithful companions and confidants even in the most difficult times.  Mothers dedicate their lives to caring and providing for their children both physically and emotionally.  They always seem to know how to help them to overcome problems and thrive in spite of them.  A mother’s love is irreplaceable, which makes losing her to death an incredibly painful experience.  While sons are daughters of all ages carry within their hearts a dull and lasting ache where they once felt love and security, it is important they continue searching for the happiness their mother always desired for them.
Love you, forever in my heart Toya!”

She was a fighter to the very end. Her absence in our lives will leave a hole that can never be filled.
